COMPANY OVERVIEW
EXCO Services is a SANAS Accredited Inspection Body (certification no. OH0077) and a Department of Labour Approved Inspection Authority (certification no. OH0077 – CI 011) in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (No. 83 of 1993).
The company was established in 2003 and our head office is based in Bellville, Cape Town. EXCO Services, Gauteng operates independently and this business was opened in 2008 with an office located in Pretoria.
Furthermore, we employ a number of occupational hygiene professionals based in Cape Town, as well as along the West Coast and the Southern Cape.
EXCO Services employ specialists in the field of Occupational Hygiene and all our consultants are registered with the Southern African Institute of Occupational Hygiene (SAIOH), an institution that is affiliated with the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA).
We provide services in the field of Occupational Hygiene and Environmental Monitoring to a wide range of clients in industry, mining, corporate business and local authorities. In doing so, we assist our clients to comply with stringent legislation pertaining to occupational hygiene and environmental management.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of EXCO Services is to recognize, evaluate, anticipate and control occupational exposures to chemical substances and physical agents. Our Occupational Hygiene service encompasses worksite analysis of operations, conducted by our clients in the corporate, industrial and mining sectors. The primary focus of our Occupational Hygiene service is to reduce occupational illnesses and injuries, as well as to affect the decline of worker compensation claims.
VISION STATEMENT
The vision of EXCO Services is to maintain a high standard of professionalism and objectivity during all investigations of potential health hazards. Our function is to provide services as needed to our clients in order to minimize their exposure to health, safety and environmental risks, including associated physical and fiscal harm to their employees and businesses.
