EXCO SERVICES WORKS WITH A REGISTERED ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT PRACTITIONER IN ORDER TO OFFER THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
- Applying for and renewing licences for facilities that emit controlled pollutants, such as foundries and galvanisers.
- Experienced on the online South African Atmospheric Emissions Licensing Portal (SAAELIP).
- Good working relationships with the municipal and national air quality officers.
- Managing specialist input into applications.
- Experienced with public participation and stakeholder forums as required for licence applications.
- Assist clients to comply with the conditions of their air quality licence, such as annual auditing, emissions sampling and reporting, holding stakeholder forum meetings.
- Well-versed in authority consultation for non-compliance resolution.
- Annual reporting of stack emission sampling for licensed and controlled emitters.
- Experienced on the online National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory System (NAEIS).
- Annual reporting of calculated greenhouse gas emission from emitters who fall under the National GHG Reporting Regulations.
- Experienced with IPCC calculation methodologies and the methodologies contained in the Technical Guideline for Reporting GHG Emissions.
- Experienced on the online South African GHG Emissions Reporting System (SAGERS)
- Impact assessment applications for new and expanding emitters.
- Impact assessment applications for disturbance of sensitive natural features.
- Impact assessment applications for waste management activities.
- Assist clients to mediate with stakeholders towards complaint resolution.
- Public participation for licence applications.
- EXCO Services works with qualified specialists in order to undertake air dispersion modelling and compile Atmospheric Impact Reports, which are needed for new and expanding emitters and sometimes to resolve authority or stakeholder concerns and complaints.
- EXCO Services works with tax and incentives consultants to unlock available savings in carbon tax calculations and to provide support for carbon tax submissions.
