Wine industry – Wine farm

Occupational Hygiene Surveys are performed at wine farms and cellars during the harvesting season in the wine regions of the Western Cape. A typical survey usually focuses on employee exposure to noise, as well as ventilation tests, where the carbon dioxide and oxygen levels and air movement are measured throughout the cellar areas. Additional services offered include illumination measurements, airborne contaminant monitoring (silica exposure at areas where filter aid is used) and asbestos risk assessments.
